The president of Bitcoin Is Better will serve by conducting board meetings and ensuring that the board’s directives are implemented and monitored.
-Lead executive board meetings.
-Create a strategic plan with specific, measurable outcomes.
-Meet with donors and corporate supporters to secure financial donations.
-Create meeting agendas that include financial reporting, personnel updates, community outreach and progress reports from each standing committee.
-Appoint special interest committees geared toward fundraising, community outreach, marketing and mission implementation.
-Collaborate with board members and staff to set short- and long-term organizational goals that include community outreach, organizational capacity, fundraising and corporate partnerships.
-Advise organization to ensure staffing is adequate, financial records are in order, donors are satisfied and short and long-term goals are realized.
-Evaluate progress of the planned outcomes and the strategic plan to grow impact and connect daily work with the vision and mission of the organization.
-Spearhead financial campaigns to bolster the organizational budget. Takes the lead on community-wide fundraising events such as dinners, speeches, conferences, workshops, merchandise promotion and other innovative methods.
-Establish a targeted private funding goal, create a recognition system to honor donors and align fundraising goals with the budgetary needs of the organization.
-Expand the number of community donors by 10% percent, annually as agreed upon by the board. Disseminates the results in a community report.
